NEMOURS CHILDREN’S HEALTH SYSTEM

Nemours Sports Medicine is excited to serve as the Official Sports Medicine Provider for the Jacksonville FC. With this partnership, the team at Nemours will offer JFC players ease of access for sports medicine appointments, concussion baseline and post-injury testing, and educational resources relating to injury prevention and treatment.

As the area’s only program focused solely on caring for young athletes, Nemours Sports Medicine features fellowship trained sports surgeons, a nonoperative pediatric sports medicine physician, and other specially trained experts. The team cares for a wide range of injuries, from the most common to the most complex, and understands the complexities of growing bones, joints, ligaments and tendons in young athletes. They also collaborate with other pediatric subspecialties at Nemours – including neurology, psychology, pain management, pulmonology, endocrinology, neurosurgery and nutrition – to provide comprehensive care to patients.
